Currently a professor at St Marys University Twickenham and Birmingham City University, I have operated at the nexus of practice, theory and policy making for over 35 years in the multiple disadvantage, homeless and youth and community work sectors and concurrently within higher education. My overall aim is to develop an enhancing synthesized praxis across these fields. I am a participatory and co-productive researcher and foreground critical and queer pedagogy. I publish where it has the greatest impact.
